Skinny won the pitch to create a new online destination for Marcus, the London Berkeley Square store that houses the most important collection of watches in the world. The website will be a new and critical sales channel for the boutique that not only beautifully showcases its immense catalogue but creates excitement and a little fun with its stunning unique collection of Haute Horlogerie, each piece a one-off commissioned by Marcus Margulies. The personality of each of these wonderful items was brought out through design – where else would you find a combination of Robots, Sharks, Divers, Clowns and Medieval books among other concepts. We also created a platform for a Knowledge Base and spotlighted Marcus’s collection.
Concept, art direction, wire framing, UX design and video were all developed in-house, but we brought in the wizards over at Appfly to deliver on development.
