Love of impressionist paintings + admiration for mixed media illustrated images pushed her to evolve + develop as a graphic artist to create digital versions of adored oil painting techniques plus new disciplines in the vector art realm. At first taking on self initiated projects the studios style has now blossomed into this portrait offering.

All portraits are produced from supplied photographs + we now offer digital art Giclée prints in two styles.

Oil Slick

Delivering a bold + modern impressionistic statement piece, the Oil Slick Portraits offerings are crafted using brush techniques + mixed media creating powerful, unique portraits.  Printed on heavyweight Giclée Hahnemühle German Etching which with it’s strong dappled effect, provides a deep + rich contrasting print, the texture of the paper holds much more ink than standard papers to stunning effect.

Super Doodles

These illustrated pieces, can be personalised + stylised to some direction.  Mixing up combinations of vector based illustrations with drawn overlays.  This style is more dependent on the quality of the supplied subject image + therefore must meet minimum resolution, size + quality requirements. The superb matt finish of Hahnemüle Photorag delivers exceptional results for Super Doodle portraits, as the paper provides strong muted blacks and has very even colour reproduction, with excellent detail. The surface has minimal texture with a slightly chalky cotton feel which creates fluid colour gradients. This paper does have a delicate surface, so extra care is recommended when handling.
