Skinny won the pitch to create a new online destination for Marcus, the Old Bond Street store that houses the most important collection of watches in the world. The website will be a new and critical sales channel for the boutique and it required a cross device, responsive site that not only beautifully showcased their immense catalogue but created excitement and a little fun with their stunning unique collection of Haute Horlogerie, each piece a one off commissioned by Marcus Margulies. The personality of each of these wonderful items were brought out through design – where else would you find a combination of Robots, Sharks, Divers, Clowns and Medieval books to name a few. We also created a platform for a easy to use Knowledge Base and spotlighted Marcus’s personal collection. The bespoke site is fully updatable via CMS.
Concept, art direction, wire framing, UX design and video were all developed in house, but we brought in the wizards over at Appfly to do deliver on development.
